- Local Borrowers and Alumni pay an annual $10 fee. There is no fee for Retired Faculty.
Local Borrowers must be residents of Madison, Haywood, Buncombe, or Yancey counties.
The borrower must be 18 or older and present a valid NC State drivers license or state issued ID.
The Local Borrower card must be mailed to the current address on the ID before the first check out.
Books must be brought into the library for renewal and may not be renewed over the phone. Local Borrowers will have limited access to
computers during peak semester hours. Computers will be available Monday through Friday from 2-10pm.
